Violent Femmes To Play Central Park Tonight

The Founding Fathers of Alternative Rock, Violent Femmes, will return to New York City for their first Manhattan performance since 2004. The Femmes will take the stage at Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield tonight, for their only Northeast show of the year. Members of Relix On the Verge band TriBeCaStan will join the group during their set.
If the night needed a reason to be more unique, Violent Femmes will perform their blistering 1983 self-titled debut album in its entirety.
