Tyler Childers, Trey Anastasio’s Classic TAB, Gov’t Mule and More to Perform at 2023 Healing Appalachia
Today, details behind this year’s Healing Appalachia event were revealed. The gathering will transpire over three days, Sept. 21 through 23, at the State Fairgrounds of West Virginia in Lewisburg, W.Va. Leading the lineup is Tyler Childers, who has been associated with the project since its inaugural year and is a co-founder of the event.
Topping this year’s lineup is Childers, as well as Trey Anastasio and Classic TAB and Gov’t Mule. Additional players who have signed on to participate in the fall occurrence include Umphrey’s McGee, Charles Wesley Godwin, Marcus King, 49 Winchester and Amythyst Kiah.
Other folks joining the cause are Katie Pruitt, Arlo McKinley, John R. Miller, Tommy Prine and a variety of added players that have signed on in support of the event’s mission: “To produce events that help connect and grow communities of recovery and healing in Appalachia, raising funds and awareness to combat opioid addiction through a wide array of projects and programs.”
In doing so, Healing Appalachia intends to “support communities of recovery building together a more prosperous, healthy and sustainable Appalachia free from addiction,” according to the official website.
Tier One Tickets are now on sale for email subscribers, and public sale will begin on June 15 at 10 a.m. EST.
