Trey Anastasio and Amanda Green Receive Tony Award Nomination

Nominations for the 2013 Tony Awards were announced this morning. Phish’s Trey Anastasio will be one of those in contention when the 67th annual Broadway theatre awards ceremony takes place on June 9. Along with his _ Hands on a Hardbody_ co-composer Amanda Green, he is in the running for Best Original Score (Music And/Or Lyrics) Written For The Theatre. Two of the actors in the show, which closed earlier this month are also in contention with Keith Carradine up for Best Performance By An Actor In A Featured Role In A Musical and Keala Settle nominated for Best Performance By An Actress In A Featured Role In A Musical.
