Widespread Panic have announced the return of their annual destination concert vacation, Panic en la Playa, happening January 19-23, 2027. For its 14th cycle, the beloved beachfront event, which takes place at Hard Rock Riviera Maya, located between Playa del Carmen and Tulum, features an extensive lineup of top talents and musical contributors who have signed on to take part in the festivities and entertain the masses. 

In keeping with tradition, the host band will take the main stage on each of the event’s four nights, emphasizing their role as principal performers and treating their globetrotting fanbase to special displays of material. Beyond Widespread Panic’s four-night commitment, the band has also tapped a collective of artists and acts to partake in afternoon and last night performances, such as Dumpstaphunk, Big Something, Mountain Grass Unit, Maggie Rose, Bloodkin, and Kendall Street Company.

In addition to the aforementioned guest talent, the occasion will also feature the Playa Allstars, a collective of supremely gifted artists gathered on a single stage to deliver specialty-curated experiences: Eric Krasno, George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville, Jennifer Hartswick, Tony Hall, Kanika Moore, Cochemea Gastelum, and Raymond Weber.

The yearly event offers guests top-notch production and acoustics for the ultimate listening experience, along with roomy dance floors to feel the music. The occasion also boasts chef-curated food stalls, tequila bars, and service throughout the crowd, so no one loses their place. Before each day’s offering of music, folks can participate in morning yoga, artist-hosted poolside games, and more to be announced.
