Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will be the first artists to perform on TheRelixChannel on Twitch.

The band will perform two livestreamed shows for free on the new platform on Oct. 1 and Oct. 2, presented by Dayglo and Dogfish Head. The band will perform from an indoor location, while aerial footage of the LOCKN’ landscape will be interspersed in the stream.

In addition to the free streams, those who have purchased tickets to LOCKN’ 2021 will receive an access code to watch an exclusive JRAD performance on Oct. 3, which will be aired on FANS. If you hadn’t purchased LOCKN’ tickets can still tune in via a pay-what-you-want model.

The livestreams were originally scheduled as pay-per-view Oct. 2-4. All those who purchased passes to the pay-per-view streams will receive a full refund.

Relix, Twitch and JRAD have also teamed up with the non-profit HeadCount, which “uses the power of music to register voters and promote participation in democracy.”

Viewers of the livestream will be able to make in-stream donations to the non-partisan organization and will also be able to check their voter registration status.

Both free livestreams (as well as the exclusive FANS stream on Oct. 3) will begin at 8 p.m. ET. To tune in to the Twitch streams, head to twitch.tv/therelixchannel.
