Last November, the world lost Todd Snider, the prolific musician, master storyteller and Americana journeyman. Through three decades of recordings, the singer-songwriter earned recognition as a great satirist tapped into the unsung minutiae of the human experience, extolled with his signature brand of wit and candor. To honor his towering legacy, Luck Presents has announced Todd Snider Rules!, a tribute concert featuring a star-studded cast of his friends and fans.

Todd Snider Rules! will stage at Willie Nelson’s famed Luck Ranch on Friday, March 20, the day after the festivities of the 14th-annual Luck Reunion. The expansive salute to Snider’s life and music is organized through a close partnership with the artist’s team and family, uniting more than 20 performers who counted him as a mentor, collaborator and influence. The roster is led by such stars of modern Americana as Amanda Shires, John Craigie, Hayes Carll, Cody Canada, Jason Boland, Kevn Kinney, Dalton Domino, Shelby Stone, Jack Ingram, Ashleigh Flynn, Kat Hasty, Pedal Steel Noah, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Tommy Prine and Levi Snider, among many others.

“The impact the loss of Todd Snider has had on the music community and on me personally cannot be overstated,” Tasjan said. “For over 20 years he was my friend, mentor and one of my closest and most trusted allies, and so the opportunity to come together with Todd’s friends and fans to honor him at Luck is something I feel so fortunate to be doing this year. I know it will help us all to process and navigate the way his absence continues to affect us all.”

“Meeting and playing shows with Todd was one of the greatest honors and experiences of my life, each night a boisterous sing-along…soaking in the laughter and heartbreak that his brilliant songs inspired,” Flynn echoed. “His passing so young is devastating. I am grateful to have been in his orbit in this lifetime.”
