New Orleans beloved music venue, Tipitina’s, has unveiled its nightly schedule for Mardi Gras 2026. Festivities at the location will begin on Friday, February 6, with music from Crescent City mainstays Galactic, with featured guest Anjelika Jelly Joseph. 

After the first night of entertainment on the Tipitina’s stage, The Rumble will proceed with their own delivery on Wednesday, February 11, with special guest Jon Cleary. The following evening, Thursday, February 12, is billed as Freedia Gras, helmed by bounce star Big Freedia. 

Friday, February 13, brings Dumpstaphunk to the stage, before Galactic and Joseph return for their second Mardi Gras concert at Tipitina’s on Valentine’s Day, Saturday, February 14. 

The final performances during the Mardi Gras celebration at Tip’s will feature The Dirty Dozen Brass Band on Sunday, February 15, followed by the Monday, February 16 arrival of The Iceman Special, which presents Banana Ball for their annual delivery. 

All roads lead to Fat Tuesday, February 17, and a final musical performance dubbed Mardi Gras Morning Sunrise Set (doors open at 5 a.m.), featuring Big Chief Juan Pardo & The Golden Comanches, with Billy Uso.
