Third Man Records to Mark 20th Anniversary of ‘Elephant’ with New Mono Mix, Unreleased Material and More

Jack White’s Third Man Records will mark the 20th anniversary of The White Stripes’ fourth studio album, Elephant, by releasing a new mono mix of the material which makes up the LP. The celebratory drop will also feature previously unheard material.

The new mono remix of the complete LP will be available on red and white vinyl and was mixed by White and Bill Skibbe at Third Man Studios in Nashville, Tenn. Of note, Elephant XX was completed on the same Calrec board used to finish the original stereo mix–which was completed at London’s To Rag Studios in 2002.

Also included is a 7-inch glitter red album containing White’s original solo demos of fan-favorite material and a DVD with unseen footage from the era. In addition, vault Package #55 will feature a 28-page booklet with an unseen photo collection.

The 20th-anniversary drop will be a Vault subscription package. The deadline to sign up for the offer will end on Jan. 31 at midnight C.T. Learn more here
