The String Cheese Incident has confirmed another round of early 2027 dates. The Say Cheese Tour - Winter 2027 will kick off at Jacksonville, FL’s Florida Theatre on January 14, before making newly announced stops at Fort Lauderdale, FL’s War Memorial Auditorium (1/15), St. Petersburg, FL’s Jannus Live (1/16-17), Durham, NC’s Durham Performing Arts Center (1/20), Atlanta’s Tabernacle (1/22-23) and Aspen, CO’s Belly Up Aspen (3/6-7). Along the way, the group will also honor their previously announced commitments at Greenville, SC’s Peace Concert Hall on January 21 and Steamboat Springs, CO’s WinterWonderGrass on March 5. Of note, WinterWonderGrass will be SCI’s first Steamboat appearance in 25 years. Trampled by Turtles, Kitchen Dwellers, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country and The Jerry Douglas Band are among the other marquee acts slated to appear at the multi-day gathering.
“A lot can happen in 30-plus years of following a band,” the band said in a statement. “Strangers become friends, and friends become family. Some Incidents become the anniversary venue for lovebirds who met on the dancefloor 20 years ago, and some kids experience their first Incident the same night their parents experience their 100th. The countless photos, videos and memories fill up our photo albums, our hard drives, and our hearts. The String Cheese Incident’s 2027 Say Cheese Tour invites us to creatively capture and share all of the little moments that make the SCI community so special.”
Over the weekend, String Cheese shared the stage with Warren Haynes and Vampire Weekend/Taper’s Choice drummer Chris Tomson at their annual Hulaween event in Live Oak, FL. They will kick off a fall tour at Red Bank, NJ’s Count Basie Center For The Arts this evening.
