Award-winning, multi-platinum ensemble, The Roots have announced plans to participate in the 2023 GRAMMY Jam Session, which is slated to occur on Saturday, Feb. 4, at The El Ray Theatre in Los Angeles.
The impending show, sponsored by Hilton, is a pre-GRAMMY affair and will include an opening set performed by Adam Blackstone and his Legacy Experience, followed by soon-to-be-announced special guests.
Past iterations have included collaborative performances featuring The Roots alongside artists such as John Legend, Queen Latifah, Jamie Foxx, Ty Dolla $ign, Lenny Kravitz and Ed Sheeran.
The February date represents the return of the musical evening, which has been a staple for nearly two decades. The 2023 iteration marks the end of a three-year hiatus and a welcomed return for The Roots.
