The Peach 2020: Oysterhead, JRAD with Oteil Burbridge, SCI, moe., The Slip and More
The initial lineup for The Peach Music Festival 2020 has been revealed, and Oysterhead will lead the Fourth of July festivities alongside Joe Russo’s Almost Dead with guest bassist Oteil Burbridge.
Additional announced acts for the Scranton, Penn. event include Turkuaz with Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew recreating Talking Heads’ Remain in Light, as well as a special reunion of The Slip, marking their first East Coast performance since 2011.
Rounding out the initial lineup are Peach favorites like The String Cheese Incident (x2), Umphrey’s McGee, moe., Pigeons Playing Ping Pong (x2), Goose and Spafford.
There will also be plenty of Allman Brothers love, with sets by Jaimoe & Friends, Allman Betts Band and Oteil & Friends featuring Devon Allman and Duane Betts.
And since the festival falls on Fourth of July weekend (July 2-5), organizers promise fireworks every night.
