The Jerry Garcia Family Joins Twogether Studios to Create New Dice Game, Jerry Garcia’s Cosmic Journey
The Jerry Garcia Family has united with the award-winning game designers Twogether Studios to create Jerry Garcia’s Cosmic Journey. The new dice game will entice music lovers through its use of the legendary guitarist’s prestigious iconography and symbols synonymous with the adornments on his famed guitars: Rosebud, Wolf, Alligator, Tiger, and et al. The game is available for pre-order and is expected to ship the week of Dec. 29, 2025.
Jerry Garcia’s Cosmic Journey is an accessible dice game for folks of all ages. It encourages “Players [to] push their luck rolling dice as they take trips around a labyrinth of Jerry’s art, picking up ‘Bummer’ tokens based on their score. When all tokens have been claimed, players journey home and win by being the first to leave all their ‘Bummers’ behind. Solo players and journey jams for up to eight players can riff on basic rulesets, guaranteeing each play experience is completely unique.”
The game, designed to be compact and easy to move, allows players to take it with them and bring the fun wherever they’re cosmic journey takes them. Jerry Garcia’s Cosmic Journey was created by the Portland, Ore.-based design team of Jenn Ellis and Keith Baker, who have built a legacy through previously released games such as Illimat (with The Decemberists), Eberron (for Dungeons & Dragons), Gloom, and Cool Cool Cool.
