The Disco Biscuits’ BISCOLAND Announces Expanded Return in July

The Disco Biscuits have announced that BISCOLAND, the band’s very own festival, well return this year for its second annual presentation. This year’s first dispatch confirms that the pioneering jamtronica outfit will once again draw an all-star list of electronic dance and jam artists to Lafayette, N.Y.’s Wonderland Forest on July 4-6, shifting from 2023’s fall staging to the height of summer. Similarly, 2024’s festival will expand to a three-day format, guaranteeing more jams, art, community and unmissable live experiences over Independence Day weekend.

While little is known about this year’s exciting return, BISCOLAND’s 2023 presentation featured four sets from the fan-favorite trance-fusion ensemble, plus a pair from peer group Lotus and another from Eggy, alongside single sets from Emancipator, Opiuo, The Floozies, Papadosio, Sunsquabi, Maddy O’Neil, Spaga Plays Dead and Space Bacon. This festival-style event is the latest in The Disco Biscuits’ long legacy of curating immersive live-music experiences, from the beloved Camp Bisco, which most recently occurred in 2019, to City Bisco, which tided fans over from Philadelphia’s TD Pavilion at The Mann in 2021 and 2022.

Wonderland Forest, the band’s new preferred retreat, is an emergent haven for jam music, hosting such performances as Twiddle’s Tumble Down Festival, Summer Jam 50 and an upcoming engagement from Trey Anastasio’s 2024 Classic TAB tour. The BISCOLAND website describes its setting at a place “to create new connections through a love of music and nature in a pristine landscape of lush forests, spectacular waterfalls, and glorious vistas.”
