The Disco Biscuits have announced a sequence of tour dates that will take them to the West Coast and Colorado this winter. Dubbed the Bubble Tour, the slate of dates pulls its name from the band’s concept of generating a cheerful protective barrier to preserve positivity. The aforementioned outing picks up after the group closes its Fall Tour and participates in a multi-night New Year’s Eve celebration. 

Coming off the success of last year’s Why We Dance Tour, the band will retrace their steps, arriving at The Showbox in Seattle before taking I-5 down to Portland, Ore., where they will participate in a two-night stand at Revolution Hall on Jan. 17 and 18. The group’s final Pacific Northwest appearance will occur at Bend, Ore.’s Midtown Ballroom on Jan. 19 before a fully-fledged California descent. 

The Disco Biscuits will perform eight concerts in the Golden State, including Jan. 24 at The Warfield in San Francisco and Jan. 31 at  Los Angeles’ The Mayan. Closing out state-specific dates with a San Diego appearance on Feb. 1, Disco Biscuits will begin traversing toward the country’s center for their eventual arrival in Colorado, stopping in Arizona and New Mexico en route.

Arriving in Colorado, the initial concert will take the shape of the group’s one and only Tractorbeam show on this specific tour, occurring at the Boulder Theater in Boulder, Colo., on Feb. 7. They will then make their way to Denver for the final concert slot on this jaunt, an evening at the Mission Ballroom on Feb. 8. The band’s Mission appearance represents their first since playing at the venue in early 2023, functioning as a welcomed return for Colorado fans. 

“While it initially started as a silly joke, the concept of living and performing within a ‘Bubble of Positivity’ has really resonated with the band and our fans. We’re playing better than ever and are here to stay. Gone are the days of 10+ year West Coast droughts! No one can pop this bubble,” explained Marc Brownstein, alluding to a concept discussed in the band’s Relix cover story. 

Tickets to all newly announced shows will go on sale at 10 a.m. P.T. on Friday, October 25, while an artist presale will take place at 10 a.m. Local Venue Time on Wednesday, October 23, using the password: BUBBLES.
