The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has unveiled a second group of presenters and performers for its 2025 induction ceremony, set to stage at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater on Nov. 8. Nineteen artists and group will now appear alongside the initial slate of 18 in the standard-bearing music institution’s 40th annual celebration, including Tedeschi Trucks Band, Mick Fleetwood, Nathaniel Rateliff, Chappell Roan and The Killers.
In keeping with its traditional process, the hall has not specified who will perform or present, and further additions to the lineup are expected as the event approaches. The other new artists confirmed for the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony are Nancy Wilson, Feist, Janelle Monáe, Joe Perry, Donald Glover, Averil Lavigne, Jerry Cantrell, Lisa Coleman, Bryan Adams, En Vogue, Hurby Luv Bug Azor, Gina Schock, Mike McCready and Jim Carrey, who joins as the evening’s second non-musical guest alongside David Letterman. Some other celebrated acts from the initial announcement include Elton John, Iggy Pop, Questlove, Brandi Carlile, Flea, Beck and Missy Elliott.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame unveiled the class of 2025 in April, cutting its initial ballot of 14 candidates down to just seven acts, alongside six more musicians and music professionals named by the hall’s board of directors. The seven entrants into the Performer category, which enshrines acts of outstanding “originality, impact, and influence,” are Bad Company, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Soundgarden The White Stripes and Chubby Checker, this year’s oldest inductee who popularized “The Twist” and famously protested the Hall of Fame in 2002 for his lack of recognition. Lauper, Soundgarden and The White Stripes have been nominated for the award before, while Cocker, Checker, Bad Company and Outkast were first-time nominees.
The other 2025 recognized artists in the Rock Hall’s new arrivals are Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon with the Musical Influence Award, which focuses on the cultural impact of artists, and Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins and Carol Kaye with the Musical Excellence Award, which enshrines artists, musicians, songwriters and producers alike for the groundbreaking originality of their work. Former Warner Bros. Records and DreamWorks Records President Lenny Waronker earned the Ahmet Ertegun Award, which recognizes non-performers who have had a significant impact on the music industry.
The 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will stream live on Disney+ on Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. ET. Learn more about the event and inductees at rockhall.com.
