Steve Earle, Guster, Sarah Jarosz and More Added to The Music of Crosby, Stills and Nash at Carnegie Hall
Previously, in early February, Michael Dorf Presents Music Of tribute concert declared its selected collection for the 19th edition of its Carnegie Hall-based celebration, landing on the esteemed Crosby Stills and Nash repertoire. The folks behind the annual New York City series followed up with a list of musical performers slated to contribute during the May 13 stand, only to tack on another round of names, building esteem surrounding the impending gathering.
Steve Earle, Guster, A.C. Newman (New Pornographers), and Sarah Jarosz are now set to join the already-announced lineup, consisting of Todd Rundgren, Grace Potter, Taylor Meier of Caamp, Yola, Iron & Wine, Rickie Lee Jones, Joseph, Shawn Colvin, Real Estate, Aoife O’Donovan, Neal Francis, and Sammy Rae of Sammy Rae & The Friends.
The house band, led by Todd Caldwell, will assist the aforementioned names with instrumental contributions from Adam Minkoff, Michelle Willis, Thad DeBrock, Chris Bruce and Josh Dion. The impending event comes after 2023’s homage to Paul McCartney, which set forth the same script as the May production by honoring the chosen artist/group and the esteemed songbook at the source of their creation. The scope of the event aims to raise funds to support music education for underserved youth.
“To be a part of this incredible evening at Carnegie Hall, celebrating the music that David, Stephen, and I created together, is a profound honor,” said Graham Nash. “I look forward to seeing a diverse and talented group of artists perform our songs. Music has always been about connection, about sharing stories and emotions that resonate with each other. This event allows us to relive those connections and support a cause close to our hearts—music education.”
