Stephen Stills, The Chicks, Leon Bridges, John Legend and More Will Perform at Virtual Democratic National Convention
COVID-19 has pushed this year’s Democratic National Convention into a mostly-virtual format, but the DNC has still ensured there will be some musical entertainment among the political hoopla.
Stephen Stills, The Chicks, John Legend, Leon Bridges and Maggie Rogers are among the DNC’s 2020 performers, as is hitmaker Billie Eilish, Common, Jennifer Hudson, Billy Porter and Prince Royce.
Explains Democratic National Convention Program Executive Stephanie Cutter, “It will truly be a convention across America, and these incredible artists will help us tell the story of where we are as a country today under Donald Trump’s failed leadership, and the promise of what we can and should be with Joe Biden as president. These artists are committed to engaging with, registering and mobilizing voters to get us over the finish line in November.”
The Democratic National Convention will run nightly from Aug. 17-20, 2020, starting at 9 p.m. ET.
