Known for their fusion of traditional bluegrass, prowess in composing their own material, and a dynamic repertoire of cover songs, Shadowgrass showcases the best of their music on Shadowgrass – The Relix Session (Limited Edition 2-LP Vinyl). The live collection was tracked at Garcia’s Chicago and is available for pre-order, with an expected ship date of December 8, 2025. 

Shadowgrass – The Relix Session was recorded on August 29, 2025, and serves as the second live set to be recorded at the newly opened Windy City venue, after LaMP’s [now sold-out] live LP championed the debut title. Shadowgrass comprised the instrumental know-how and evocative interplay between Kyser George (guitar), Clay Russell (banjo), Luke Morris (vocals/mandolin), Madison Morris (vocals/fiddle), and Evan Campfield (bass).

Amongst the material covered on the pressing are Grateful Dead favorites, including “Mr. Charlie” and “Fire on the Mountain,” next to traditional, “Reuben’s Train,” stretched out to the near 20-minute mark, exposing the band’s tenacity for extemporizing prized songs, adding flair and panache that denotes the Shadowgrass touch. 

Ahead of the album’s release, the group will take their talents on the road, spending ample time in the Southern region of the country ahead of their highly anticipated two-night stand at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, Nov. 21-22.
