Morgan Wallen’s Sand In My Boots will return this spring. The multi-day gathering will take place on the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama from May 21-23, 2027, where the Hangout Music Festival once took place. The cross-genre event debuted in 2025 but took last year off. In addition to Wallen, Sand In My Boots’ marquee acts include Kings of Leon and Ella Langley, who appeared at the fest its inaugural year but has since broken out with her Billboard record-breaking hit “Choosin’ Texas.”
Spanning the worlds of country, hip-hop, rock, electronica and pop, Sand In My Boots will also boast appearances by Nelly, Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Third Eye Blind, Girl Talk, Flo Rida, Koe Wetzel, Kygo, Empire Of The Sun, Cole Swindell, Avery Anna, Midland, Gavin Adcock, Kameron Marlowe, Hudson Westbrook, Kashus Culpepper, Carter Faith, Corey Kent, Vincent Mason, Juicy J, Project Pat and Ying Yang Twins, among others.
“One thing I’m looking forward to the most about bringing Sand In My Boots Festival back is being able to have new concepts on stage and trying to elevate the experience overall for the fans, myself and other artists on the bill,” Morgan said in a statement. “I think it’s going to be really top-notch and we’re going to try to do it even better this time.”
Morgan will give back to the local community at Sand In My Boots through his Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF), which supports youth programs in the areas of sports and music. In 2025, the foundation donated over $200,000 in instruments to five schools in Alabama. Since the start of MWF’s Tour Give Back initiative, the foundation has contributed over $2 million worth of instruments to schools in need across the cities Wallen visits while on tour.
