Roger Daltrey to Step Away From Role as Curator of Annual Teenage Cancer Trust Gigs

Roger Daltrey has announced that he will step away from his role as curator of the annual Teenage Cancer Trust gigs following the impending set of 2024 concerts. The forthcoming performances will occur from March 18 to 24 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, featuring performances from The Who, Noel Gallagher, Young Fathers, and a special ovation.

Since 2000, concerts for The Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall have raised millions in ticket sales. “The £32m raised from these concerts has been the foundation for the 28 specialized units within the NHS, as well as specialist nurses and youth workers, to be there for a young person when cancer has turned their world upside down,” offered Daltrey.

This final offering of Daltrey-curated Teenage Cancer Trust gigs will culminate in a finish on Sunday, March 24, an Ovation of 24 years of concerts benefiting the choice charity. The impending bill will feature contributions from Kelly Jones, Robert Plant, Pete Townshend, Eddie Vedder and Paul Weller.

Tickets for the 2024 iteration of Royal Albert Hall-hosted Teenage Cancer Trust gigs are on sale.
