Phish Tell Fans to “Save the Date” for First Festival Since 2015

Today, Vermont-based jamband Phish announced their first festival since 2015, which will take place at The Woodlands in Dover, Del., on Aug. 15-18, 2024. The news was shared on the band’s socials with a graphic simply stating, “Save the Date,” along with the location and four days less than a year away.

The last time the quartet gathered fans for a multi-day festival was Magnaball, held at Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, N.Y., on the weekend of Aug. 21-23, 2015. The band performed seven official sets over three nights, while an additional set was performed behind a large drive-in movie screen behind the race track bleachers. The event’s soundcheck was also broadcast publicly.

Details, including the festival’s name, lineup and ticketing information, have yet to be announced. However, the band did share that the event will include camping, travel packages and more – with specifics coming in the fall.

The band also advised fans to make sure they’re signed up for the Phish Update to hear about it first “(via email + our shiny new SMS list).”
