Phish have postponed their upcoming show at Huntsville, AL’s Orion Amphitheater from Saturday, October 10 to Monday, October 12 due to severe weather affecting the area. The group’s Sunday, October 11 date as the same venue will go on as planned.

In a statement, the Vermont Quartet explained:

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THIS WEEKEND’S SHOWS IN HUNTSVILLE: Due to the severe weather expected across the state of Alabama this weekend, we regret to announce that Phish’s show at Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville on Saturday, October 10 will be postponed to Monday, October 12. Sunday’s show will proceed as scheduled.

This was a difficult decision, but Saturday’s forecast calls for heavy rain, wind gusts exceeding 50mph and an elevated tornado risk through the afternoon. At those wind speeds, it isn’t safe to hang lighting and audio. We’re also concerned about fans and crew traveling to Huntsville in those conditions. We apologize for any impact this change will have, but the safety of fans and crew has to come first. The storm is expected to clear overnight Saturday, with good conditions forecast for Sunday and Monday.

Tickets for Saturday’s show will automatically be honored on Monday, October 12. If you purchased a Saturday ticket or 2-day ticket from an authorized ticket sales channel and cannot make the Monday show, you will have until 7PM CT on Friday, October 9 to request a refund for the Saturday portion of your ticket.

Thank you for your understanding, and please travel safely.

The upcoming Alabama dates, Phish’s first and only at the space since 2023, will close out their brief fall tour. They will appear in Jacksonville, FL tomorrow.
