Paul Simon has announced an extension of his A Quiet Celebration Tour in Europe next year. The legendary singer-songwriter will continue the intimate, powerful run that brought his triumphant return to the spotlight after seven years away with 21 new performances across 10 cities from April 9 to May 20.

Simon’s European run will begin with a three-night residency at Prague’s Congress Centre from April 9-12. On the ensuing month-long outing, he’ll make appearances at Berlin’s Uber Eats Music Hall, Copenhagen’s Falconer Centre, Amsterdam’s AFAS Live, Brussels’ Bozar, Paris’ Grand Rex, Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena, Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo, London’s Royal Albert Hall and finally Dublin’s 3Arena.

Paul Simon concluded his farewell tour in 2018. Shortly afterwards, the artist revealed that he’d been afflicted by sudden and severe hearing loss in his left ear, which worsened rapidly during the recording of his 2023 album Seven Psalms to the point where he became all but incapable of performing. In February, Simon surprised listeners everywhere by announcing his A Quiet Celebration Tour, which continued into early August with 55 engagements at iconic venues across North America, specially selected fr their superior acoustics.

Simon’s return was made possible by advancements in assistive audio technology. Through a partnership with the Stanford Initiative to Cure Hearing Loss, his production team created  an innovative stage setup with moving monitors that surrounded him in sound to counter his hearing damage. The celebrated run also brought the live debut of Seven Psalms, his zeal for which encouraged him to overcome the odds against touring. Recorded entirely on acoustic instruments, the artist’s recent song cycle was released as a continuous piece of music in seven movements, cultivating an immersive and deeply affecting listening experience.

Tickets for Paul Simon’s 2026 European tour dates will go on sale next Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 10 a.m. GMT. Learn more at paulsimon.com.
