Paul McCartney Books Two Intimate Nights at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles
Paul McCartney has announced a pair of intimate live performances in Los Angeles. After concluding his massive Get Back Tour in 2025, The Beatles’ original bassist will continue the tradition of putting on intimate live shows with limited notice. Today, Macca shared plans to perform at 1,200 capacity Fonda Theatre on March 27 and 28.
Previously, in February 2025, McCartney caused a similar stir with abrupt day-of performances at New York’s Bowery Ballroom, providing a less-than-12-hour window between news of the gig and showtime. From one, the NYC surprise puffed to three total concerts at the 575-person venue.
Despite his ability to sell out stadiums, McCartney’s live performance history dates back to a rich tradition of speciality concerts renowned for their amity, due in part to the size of the room and the number in attendance.
