Oliver Wood and Seth Walker Connect for Spring Co-Headline Tour

This spring, Americana sensations Oliver Wood and Seth Walker will join forces for a limited co-headline run. The esteemed artists and longtime friends will head out for six shows in late April in the start of May; Walker will open each engagement with a solo set, then Wood will do the same before the duo come together for a collaborative set to close the program.
Wood and Walker will commence their duo endeavor on April 26 with a kick-off from Jasper, Ind.’s Astra Theatre. For the following evening, the musicians will saunter on to Bloomington, Ill.’s Castle Theatre, then they’ll truck up to Milwaukee for an April 28 date at Shank Hall. After an April 29 stand at Evanston, Ill.’s Evanston Space, Wood and Walker will connect with Dave and Dave–Dave Simonett and Dave Carroll of Tramples By Turtles–for a one-night-only event just as packed with generational roots-rock talents as it is alliterative. Finally, on May 1, the artists will wrap their short and sweet run with a finale at Green Bay, Wis.’s Meyer Theatre.
The imminent tour is occasioned by Walker’s upcoming solo album Why The Worry, the title track of which was co-written by Wood. The outing will also give Wood an opportunity to properly honor his celebrated 2024 solo album Fat Cat Silhouette, which featured a co-write from Walker on “Grab Ahold.”
“I wanted to get outside my box and embrace the uncertainty of what’s out there,” Wood said of his recent project in an exclusive statement for Relix last year. “Making this album was a process of being immediate, making quick decisions, and trusting that the universe and my years of experience would handle the rest.”
Tickets for Wood and Walker’s duo tour will go on sale this Friday, February 21. Secure yours at oliverwoodmusic.com or sethwalker.com.
