Nugs Announces Livestreams for Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros’ Four-Night New Year’s Eve Series, Included for All-Access Subscribers
From a well-earned siesta in the wake of Dead & Company’s 30-date Dead Forever series at Las Vegas’ Sphere, which concluded on August 10, and preceding the band’s celebration of its 10th anniversary at the cutting edge venue from March 20 to May 17, Bobby Weir will mark the end of an unforgettable year with a New Year’s Eve series in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. To send off 2024, the legendary Grateful Dead guitarist and vocalist will play six shows with his Wolf Bros combo from Dec. 27 to Jan 3. Today, nugs.net has officially announced that the first phase of this highly-anticipated series will be available to stream on its platform.
On Dec. 27, Weir will take the stage at Fort Lauderdale’s Broward Center for Performing Arts, kicking off his series alongside his longtime backing trio of Don Was, Jay Lane and Jeff Chimenti, plus a chorus of horns and strings. The ensemble will dig in on this stage for three more shows on Dec. 28, 30 and 31, ringing in 2025 at the same site where they played into 2024. All four of these shows with Wolf Bros and The Wolfpack are included with a nugs All Access subscription; while the first three nights are exclusive to subscribers, the final New Year’s Eve celebration will also be available for pay-per-view.
