New LA Wildfire Relief Benefit Concert G*VE A F*CK LA to Feature Musical Performances by Courtney Barnett, St. Vincent Kevin Morby and More

G*VE A F*CK LA, a new benefit concert and auction, is slated to occur on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. Live Nation presents the one-off evening of charitable intent, set to feature an array of intimate performances from a selection of musicians and comedians dedicated to the city and its surrounding region’s prosperity in the wake of natural tragedy.

Serving as the night’s entertainers is an amalgamated list of gagsters and artists, including alt-indie darlings Courtney Barnett, St. Vincent and Kevin Morby, Paramore’s frontman Hayley Williams, songwriter/ producer FINNEAS, Lucy Dacus on the heels of her debut album announcement, and improvisation stalwart Reggie Watts.

The group above leads a list featuring singer-songwriter Christopher Owens, Jenny Lewis, Juliette Lewis, MUNA, Perfume Genius, Phantom Planet, Rostam & Sasami, Scout Willis, The Linda Lindas and special guests, including comedians/entertainers Fred Armisen, Symone, and the event host, John C. Reilly.

Before the onslaught of already-mentioned acts, the show will open with DJ sets from Fat Tony and Harmony Tividad. 100% of net proceeds gained through ticket sales will benefit local organizations such as Altadena Girls, Friends in Deed, One Voice, and Pasadena Humane Society. All venue and ticketing service fees will be waived for the event.

G*VE A F*CK LA represents the latest charity concert aimed at raising financial support for victims of the LA wildfires, which ravaged homes and communities in early January. Previously, the “I Love LA” Eaton Fire Benefit Concert was announced; the occasion is slated to feature performances by Andrew Bird, Bright Eyes, Jim James and more.

FireAid previously announced a fundraising event of its own, slated for Jan. 30 at the KIA Forum, with performances by Joni Mitchell, Dave Matthews & John Mayer, Earth Wind and Fire, Stevie Nicks, String, Stephen Stills, and second-wave arrivals Stevie Wonder, Graham Nash, Alanis Morisette and others.

For those unable to attend the G*VE A F*CK LA benefit concert, Veeps will live-stream the evening beginning at 5 p.m. local time for a $5 minimum donation.

Tickets go on sale today, Tuesday, Jan. 28.
