Neil Young Pre-Grammy Salute at Los Angeles’ Troubadour Set to Feature Rhiannon Giddens, Margo Price, Molly Tuttle, Sierra Hull and More
Neil Young’s unparalleled catalog of original music will receive a lift from fellow musicians during this year’s imminent Americana Pre-Grammy Salute, benefiting MusicCares. This year’s gathering will arrive midweek, on Wednesday, Jan. 31, the evening before Music’s Biggest Night, at West Hollywood’s renowned Troubadour venue.
At this time, the artist lineup has not been fully revealed. Despite pending additions, the initial participants in the celebratory occasion honoring the Canadian stalwart are Rhiannon Giddens, Margo Price, Molly Tuttle, Sierra Hull, I’m With Her, Maggie Rose, and Jesse Welles. The aforementioned musicians are all nominated for the 2026 Grammys in folk, country, and Americana categories.
Also featured on the lineup are The Milk Carton Kids, Young the Giant, Gold Star, Katie Pruitt, Chris Pierce, and Alex Amen. “We are proud to continue our longstanding pre-Grammy salute tradition, and I can’t wait to see our extraordinary performers honor Neil and his incredible song,” Jed Hilly, executive director of the Americana Music Association, said in a statement.
Last year, the Americana Music Association show received official Grammy Week accreditation while simultaneously raising funds for fire relief through MusicCares programs and initiatives. Notably, proceeds from the sale of the Americana Pre-Grammy Salute to Neil Young will benefit MusicCares, in addition to the Americana Music Association and Foundation.
