My Morning Jacket Postpone Detroit and Columbus Shows
Today, My Morning Jacket shared in a statement on social media that Jim James is still feeling unwell due to COVID-19 and they’ve decided to postpone two more shows as he recuperates. The shows affected include the shows set to take place at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre, in Rochester Hills, Mich. right outside of Detriot, and Kemba Live! in Columbus, Ohio, originally planned for June 28 and June 29.
The two shows have been rescheduled and will now take place on Sept. 12 and Sept. 13 respectively. The band wrote in their statement, “We are still looking forward and staying hopeful that we will be in Madison and Chicago this coming weekend.”
My Morning Jacket closed their statement by sharing their appreciation for fans’ understanding and flexibility and advised them to stay safe.
