My Morning Jacket have announced a slew of 2021 tour dates, marking their first US headlining tour in five years. The dates will begin on Aug. 27 in Charlotte, N.C. at the Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre and wrap up with a three-night run at Chicago’s Auditorium Theater on Nov. 4-6.

Other notable shows on the tour include a two-night run at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, N.Y. on Sept. 10-11, a pair of shows at Seattle’s Paramount Theater (Oct. 1-2) and a Halloween show in New Orleans at the Orpheum Theater.

According to a press release, “My Morning Jacket will present a wide-ranging live set encompassing new music alongside fan favorites and classic greatest hits from their epic catalog.” Throughout the tour, MMJ will be joined by several special guests; Brittany Howard will co-headline a series of shows in September, and elsewhere on the tour MMJ will be joined by Flock Of Dimes, Durand Jones & The Indications and Bedouine.

Fan and VIP presales begin tomorrow, May 19 at 10 a.m. local time until May 20 at 10 p.m. local. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on May 21 at 10 a.m. local time, except for the Chicago shows, which will go on sale at 12 p.m. on May 21.
