moe. Unveil moe.down Artist Lineup: Umphrey’s McGee, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Bob. and More
moe. have unveiled the artist lineup for the long-awaited return of moe.down. From July 16-18, the foundational jamband’s signature festival will call together the best of their peers and collaborators for the first time since 2019 at the new site of Gilbert, Pa.’s West End Fairgrounds. For their resurrection event, the band has enlisted a total of 21 acts, including collaborations and side projects from the hosts.
moe. will lead the charge at this summer’s festival with nightly shows; Umphrey’s McGee and Daniel Donato will bring the event’s energy to a fever pitch before the closers, and one more high-profile jam project is blurred on the bill and still to be announced. Apart from their headline sets, the members of the Buffalo-based jam quintet will take the stage in other configurations with Chuck Garvey, Jim Loughlin, Rob Derhak’s longtime trio Ha Ha the Moose, a Grateful Dead cover collaboration with Organ Fairchild and Bob., their Bob Dylan cover project showcased at Warren Haynes’ Christmas Jam.
Elsewhere at moe.down, fans can catch Ghosts of Jupiter (featuring moe.’s Nate Wilson), Hayley Jane Band, Kanika Moore & The Brown Eyed Bois, lespecial, Mike Dillon Band, Neighbor, Blueberry Betty, Conehead Buddha, Dr. Jah, the Emma Derhak Band, Moon Boot Lover, Ominous Seapods, Organ Farchild and Yolk. Kanika Moore will serve as the festival’s Artist at Large.
“The return of moe.down means as much to the band as it does to our fans,” bassist Rob Derhak expressed with the festival’s initial announcement in December. “We are all famoe.ly and this is our grand picnic. We all can’t wait to do it again!”
