moe. and Umphrey’s McGee Resume Joint Tour in Michigan

12:42 PM EDT on August 13, 2026

Last night, moe. and Umphrey’s McGee resumed their collaborative moe.mentUM Tour at Grand Rapids, MI’s Frederik Meijer Gardens. As the next leg of the run commenced, so did the joint encores and yesterday’s show featured several noteworthy moments.

moe. performed first, then Umphrey’s McGee played and, after the latter band’s set, members of both groups took the stage for a mix of material. At the outset of that encore segment, Umphrey’s McGee guitarist Brendan Bayliss, UM percussionist Andy Farag and UM keyboardist Joel Cummins returned to the stage with all six members of moe. for a take on their classic “Plane Crash,” marking the first time that tune has appeared in an Umphrey’s McGee setlist. Then, the rest of Umphrey’s McGee slid back in and moe. percussionist Jim Loughlin and moe. guitarist Al Schnier remained as the musicians jumped into a version of Umphrey’s McGee’s “Attachments” that segued into Genesis’ “That's All.” moe. keyboardist Nate Wilson also joined the festivities for the latter song.

The moe.mentUM Tour will continue tonight at Indianapolis, IN’s Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park.
