Mimi Fishman Foundation and WaterWheel Foundation Auction Signed Phish NYE and Riviera Maya Posters
Continuing its mission of activating the jam community for social good, The Mimi Fishman Foundation has launched a new auction of Phish memorabilia. The posters for The Mimi Fishman Foundation’s latest auction–a 26-year tradition for the organization founded by Phish drummer Jon Fishman’s mother–are sourced from the legendary jamband’s New Year’s run at New York’s Madison Square Garden and Riviera Maya destination event, both beloved customs in their own right.
The Mismi Fishman Foundation’s new auction lot features 14 prints, all signed by all four members of the pioneering quartet. Three of the five posters from the band’s New Year’s series are represented – Darren Shaddick, Amy Jean and Máximo Tuja’s illustrations, the former two in both foil and standard editions – are available, alongside Riviera Maya posters by Nicolás Crespo and Tyler Stout. Bidding begins at $375 and will remain open until March 19 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Proceeds from the auction will be split between The Mimi Fishman Foundation and The WaterWheel Foundation, Phish’s multifaceted philanthropic arm responsible for raising over $9 million for a wide variety of charitable beneficiaries. Each will distribute the donations to a range of chosen nonprofit organizations in line with their ongoing service to public health and wellbeing, environmental protection, social justice, music education and more.
