Earlier this month, Phish bassist Mike Gordon made a surprise appearance at Temple Sinai in Burlington, Vt., joining the band Nefish Mountain for a cover of First Aid Kit’s “Emmylou.”
Gordon’s daughter Tessa, who is shaping up as a singer in her own right, offered backing vocals on the song as well.
As some may recall, Tessa recently performed with Mike at a 2020 rally for Bernie Sanders, a June 2021 Max Creek show, and an Old Crow Medicine Show gig in July 2021.
