In late January Mikaela Davis will travel to the U.K. and Ireland for a series of shows with by John Lee Shannon. In anticipation of these dates they have recorded a number of songs for a holiday EP.
As Davis explains, “This coming January, I’m embarking on a duo tour of the UK and Ireland accompanied by John Lee Shannon. With all our excitement to get back across the pond and the holidays ahead of us, we figured what better time to record some duo songs? And better yet, make em Christmas.”
Waltz Across Christmas is available via Bandcamp. Davis appears on harp and vocals, while Shannon is on mandolin, mandola & guitar. 10% of the profits from this release will go to Family of Woodstock.
