Marcus King Outlines Marcus King Band Goes Back to Class Tour 2025, New Spring Dates

Following the success of 2024’s Grammy-nominated Mood Swing, Marcus King has announced his impending return to the road. The musician will set out on a 16-stop run called Marcus King Band Goes to School: The Tour, beginning on April 2, 2025, at the Durham Performing Arts Center in Durham, N.C.
King and company will take their live show to various festival engagements with his band in tow, including the Savannah Music Festival (April 3) and Tortuga Music Festival (April 4). The group will keep up with the regional appearances with follow-ups at the Florida Theater in Jacksonville, Fla., and Saenger Theater in Pensacola, Fla., on April 6 and 6, respectively.
Heading East, the Marcus King Band will perform at the Ting Pavilion in Charlottesville, Va., on April 11, with a follow-up scheduled for the next night at Schaefer Center in Boone, N.C. More Southern stops ensue, including shows in Kentucky and Mississippi, ahead of another festival slot, this time at Atlanta’s Sweetwater 420 Festival on April 18.
The band’s next live show will happen on April 19 at Greenfield Lake Amphitheater in Wilmington, N.C., before a brief break and inevitably return on April 24, when the band resumes their schedule on The Lyric in Oxford, Miss. Two nights later, the ensemble will perform at Billy Bobs in Fort Worth, Texas, before popping over to Montgomery PAC in Montgomery, Ala., on April 29.
The final gigs on the Marcus King Band Goes to School: The Tour schedule arrives on May 9 at the Avalon Theater in Grand Junction, Colo., followed by one final show, slated for May 11, at The Cotillion Ballroom in Wichita, Kan.
A special artist presale launches at 9 am local time on December 17, followed by venue presales on December 18 at 9 am local time.
