Last night, Mumford & Sons rolled through Madison, WI for a performance at the Kohl Center. Marcus King Band opened the show and, during Mumford & Sons’ set, the group’s namesake guitarist emerged to play on “Here,” a track off the English outfit’s 2026 album, Prizefighter.
The studio version of “Here,” which kicks off the LP, features Chris Stapleton, the country-crossover act King has opened for and shared the stage with in the past. A multi-generational mix of country-leaning acts, ranging from Shania Twain to Stella Lefty, have sat in on the tune with Mumford & Sons this summer.
Both Mumford & Sons and Marcus King Band will perform at Louisville, KY’s Bourbon & Beyond tomorrow. King will also issue “Blue,” a new single featuring country singer ERNEST, the same day.
