Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Maggie Rose has released her latest single, a courageous and boisterous anthem for personal growth, aptly titled “Relentless.” The track reflects on her experience as a new mother, which coincides with a “turbulent season of her music career,” according to the press release.

By embracing resilience and vulnerability, Rose opens up about her own experience on the new Davis Naish and Ben Tanner-produced track, a triumphant display of feminine perseverance in the wake of great change. “This life is gonna leave you breathless/ But you’ll catch it every time/ So fight, you gotta be relentless/ ‘Cause the best things take thеir time,” the songstress emotes via the chorus, supplying her listeners with lyrical encouragement.

“I wrote ‘Relentless’ with my good friends and collaborators Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony a few days after being dropped by my last record label, and the words just fell out,” Rose explains. “Making something beautiful with my friends in the face of that disappointment and sadness was the best thing I could do for myself at the time. I know resilience is an attribute that has served me well over the last almost two decades of living in Nashville, so I leaned into that and hope people who hear it will do the same.”

“Relentless” arrives after Rose’s well-received No One Gets Out Alive collection. The musician spoke to Relix about the set in a 2024 interview, telling us, “I’m grateful that I approached this project with a lot of fluidity because it made each song get the treatment that it deserved, so that it could be completed to the best of my ability.” Read more

Rose’s press release states that “Relentless” will be featured on a forthcoming EP. Stream the new song here.
