LP Giobbi to Perform Dead House at NOLA’s The Howlin’ Wolf Following Dead & Company’s Jazz Fest Appearance

Today, it was announced following Dead & Company’s headlining set at New Orleans Jazz Festival, producer, DJ, multi-instrumentalist, and Grateful Dead fan LP Giobbi will bring her Dead House project for an after-party at The Howlin’ Wolf.
The event, which is presented by Relix, Live For Live Music, GMP Music, and Purple Hat Productions, will see the Eugene, Ore.-native’s combination of the Grateful Dead and electronic music. The project came after she was encouraged by Bob Weir’s manager encouraged efforts for a livestream in befit of Backline, and it evolved into a Dead House DJ Set at Dead & Company’s destination event Playing In The Sand.
$1 per ticket sold will go to Femme House, a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization founded by LP Giobbi that “fosters more equitable opportunity for women and gender-expansive individuals in the technical and behind-the-scenes areas of music. We are developing the future producers, mixers, engineers, DJs, artists, and executives of the industry by providing education and scholarships, cultivating community, furthering visual representation, and leveraging our platform to amplify the voices of marginalized communities.”
