Lotus have confirmed an extensive string of 2027 shows. On January 21, the long-running livetronica act will kick off a run at Lawrence, KS’s The Bottleneck. From there, the ensemble will move throughout the Midwest, West Coast and Texas, before bringing things to a close at Houston’s The Heights Theater on February 13. Along the way, the band will play two nights at Denver’s Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom on January 22 and 23 and appear at Tucson, AZ’s Gem & Jam Festival on February 7. Michael Wilbur (of Moon Hooch) will provide support duties on all headlining dates, with the notable exception of the band’s February 9 stop in Santa Fe, NM.
Before then, Lotus have a short Halloween weekend run on the books, which caps off with an October 31 gig at Erie, PA’s King’s Rook Club. They will also ring in 2027 at Baltimore, MD’s Baltimore Soundstage with their Lotus NYE - Remixed & Reimagined show.
On Saturday, Lotus’ Jesse Miller concluded an outing with Octave Cat, his band with Dopapod’s Eli Winderman and Charlie Patierno, at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, before heading into the studio to record a new album. During the gig, Dopapod guitarist Rob Compa sat in Octave Cat, turning the evening into a partial Dopapod reunion. The quartet have officially been on hiatus since 2024.
