Lo Faber, Aaron Lieberman, Jason Crosby and Tom Pirozzi Team Up To Perform “Hey Jude” In Support of Backline

Doctor Lo Faber (God Street Wine), Aaron Lieberman (God Street Wine, Bruce Katz Band), Jason Crosby (Phil & Friends, Assembly of Dust, Doobie Decibel System, God Street Wine) and Tom Pirozzi (Ominous Seapods, Get Up Jack) have teamed up to created a quarantined take on The Beatles’ “Hey Jude.” The song was created in support of the efforts of Backline “to provide mental health and wellness services to musicians, crew members, and all kinds of professionals in the touring music world.”

“I joined forces with Aaron, Jason Crosby, and Ol’ TP to made a jammed out video of ‘Hey Jude’ in support of Backline,” said Faber. “It’s needed work at a time when the touring business has been hit very hard by the pandemic and I really think it’s a big part of making sure the jam band world still exists by the time we are safe to reopen live concerts.”

On the fundraiser page, the group notes: “We’ve played together in bands like God Street Wine, Phil Lesh & Friends, Ominous Seapods, Assembly of Dust, and many more. Now we’re “virtually” jamming together again to honor the live music world which has been hit so hard by the Covid-19 crisis.”
