On Thursday, Feb. 27, Little Feat sailed into Fort Lauderdale, Fla. for a performance at The Parker. For the seventh and final set in the 2025 extension of their Can’t Be Satisfied Tour, the legendary roots-rock group lit up a litany of their all-time classic tracks.
The single-set, 17-song staging saw the band digging deep in their five-decade discography and turning up familiar favorites like “Let It Roll,” “Oh Atlanta,” “Spanish Moon,” “Time Loves a Hero,” “Down on the Farm,” “Cajun Girl,” “Old Folks Boogie” and “Dixie Chicken,” as well as recent entry “Four Days of Heaven, Three Days of Work” and the first treatment of “Sailin’ Shoes” this year. Towards the end of the set, pedal and lap steel virtuoso and South Florida local Roosevelt Collier joined in for the well-traveled blues cover of “Mellow Down Easy,” then sat in again for the closing cut and setlist staple “Feats Don’t Fail Me Now.”
Little Feat will return to the stage on May 5 to set off their spring Strike Up The Band Tour with support from Cris Jacobs. In the summer, they’ll meet up with Nitty Gritty Dirt Band for the highly-anticipated Dirty Feat Tour, delivering five co-headline engagements from June 21-26.
