Little Feat to Make Grand Ole Opry Debut, Fred Tackett and Scott Sharrard Add West Coast Duo Dates

Little Feat will make their Grand Ole Opry debut next month. The Los Angeles-bred group will appear on the program on September 8, two days before they commence the next leg of their Last Farewell Tour at the Opry’s former home, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. As previously reported, Shovels & Rope have also been added to Little Feat’s September 14 and 15 appearances at Charleston, SC’s Charleston Music Hall.

In related news, Little Feat guitarists Fred Tackett and Scott Sharrard will hit the road as an acoustic duo in early 2027. The run will kick off at Solana Beach, CA’s Belly Up on January 27 and come to a close on in Berkeley, CA’s The Freight on February 5. Along the way, the guitarists will make stops in Pioneertown, CA’s Pappy & Harriet’s (1/28), San Juan Capistrano, CA’s Coach House Concert Hall (1/30), Thousand Oaks, CA’s Janet & Ray Scherr Forum Theatre (1/31), San Luis Obispo, CA’s Fremont Theater (2/2) and Menlo Park, CA’s The Guild Theatre (2/4). The duo will also tour the East Coast in December.
