Listen: DARKSIDE Announce First North American Tour in 11 Years, Share New Single “Graucha Max”

DARKSIDE return today to announce Psychic Spiral Nothing, the pioneering electronic rock band’s first North American tour in 11 years. Set for the spring of 2025, the tour will last just over a month from its outset at Chicago’s The Salt Shed on May 13 through a finale at Denver’s Mission Ballroom on Apr. 16. The total 15-stop sprint will be highlighted by high-profile sets at Toronto’s HISTORY, Boston’s Roadrunner, New York’s the Brooklyn Steel, Washington’s 9:30 Club, Nashville, Tenn.’s Brooklyn Bowl Nashville, and Seattle’s The Showbox, among others.
Alongside the landmark tour announcement, DARKSIDE’s latest dispatch features a new single titled “Graucha Max.” The fresh entry—the outfit’s first studio offering since its 2021 sophomore album Spiral—debuts three years of sonic development with a dense, experimental fusion of minimal techno, electronica, punk, krautrock, global beats and more. “Graucha Max” is the first studio composition of the new trio, now featuring former tour drummer Tlacael Esparza as a full-time member alongside Chilean electronic composer Nicolás Jaar and L.A.-based multi-instrumentalist Dave Harrington. Tomorrow, Oct. 22, DARKSIDE will kick off its fall tour in Europe and the UK with a show at the Queen Margaret Union in Glasgow. After 9 further shows, the trio will end its 2024 series with a set at the vaunted Le Guess Who? festival in Utrecht, Netherlands, on Nov. 8.
