This spring, Lindsay Lou will join The Wood Brothers aboard their ‘Heart is The Hero’ tour. The nine-date run will see Lou supporting the acclaimed Americana trio on a trek up the East Coast from May 2–11. To launch their collaborative run, Lou will open for The Wood Brothers on May 2 on Brown’s Island in Richmond, Va., followed by a performance at Newton, N.J.’s Newton Theater on May 3. Next, the bands will play the Community Arts Center in Williamsport, Penn. and Infinity Hall in Hartford, Conn. on May 4 and 5. The two acts will hike to northern New England on shows at Brownfield, Maine’s Stone Mountain Arts on May 7, Keene, N.H.’s Colonial PAC on May 8 and Nashua, N.H.’s Nashua Center on May 9. On May 10, they will hit The United Theatre in Westerly, R.I. before closing out the run together at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, N.H. on May 11.
Leading up to her stint supporting The Wood Brothers, Lou will be playing a string of dates for her ‘Queen of Time’ Tour, including her next performance on March 23 at The Caverns Sessions in Pelham, Tenn., hosted by PBS. Then, Lou will trek through the West Coast, including a notable trio of performances at WinterWonderGrass Festival in Olympic Valley, Calif. from April 5-7, before a set at the River Falls Bluegrass, Bourbon & Brews Festival in River Fall, Wisc. on April 19. After her run with The Wood Brothers, she will return to her own tour, with shows scheduled in the South and Midwest throughout the summer, including several more festival appearances, before finishing out the tour in a full-circle moment on Oct. 11 at CaveFest, back at The Caverns in Pelham, Tenn.
Lou, based out of Nashville, released her fourth studio album, Queen of Time, on Kill Rocks Stars in Dec. 2023. The album features a host of notable collaborations from the Americana sphere, with contributions from Billy Strings, Greensky Bluegrass, Molly Tuttle, Peter Rowan and Leftover Salmon.
