Enthusiasm continues to resonate following Billy Strings’ Ionia Freak Fair. The event occurred on Friday and Saturday at the Ionia Fairgrounds in Ionia, MI. Strings and his group performed each day, while other participants included: Greensky Bluegrass, Leftover Salmon, Sierra Hull, Michael Cleveland, Lindsay Lou and others.
On Sunday we shared videos that captured a number of the sit-ins that took place during Strings’ set at the Freak Fair. A couple of notable guest appearances occurred during the other sets, which we’d like to point your way as well.
During Leftover Salmon’s Friday performance they group welcomed Lindsay Lou, who helped offer a Dolly Parton tribute with “9 to 5.”
On Saturday, Greensky Bluegrass brought out Mr. Billy Strings, himself, for their original “Courage for the Road.”
Also on Saturday, Lindsay Lou welcomed Drew Emmitt and Kyle Tuttle for "I’ve Endured."
