Leftover Salmon and Kitchen Dwellers Reveal “Memorial Day Pick-Nic” Special Guests: Bill Payne, Nicki Bluhm, Jason Carter and More

On May 26, Leftover Salmon and Kitchen Dwellers will unite at Morrison, Colo.’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre for their “Memorial Day Pick-Nic.” Yesterday, the bands revealed that their performance will be made even more exceptional with the addition of some top-tier special guests well familiar to the scene.
Salmon and Dwellers’ co-headline event at the storied open-air amphitheater will feature appearances from six soloists. Through the course of the evening, iconic Little Feat keyboardist Bill Payne, country-rock singer-songwriter and former Phil Lesh collaborator Nicki Bluhm, Grammy-winning fiddler Jason Carter, influential bluegrass multi-instrumentalist Laurie Lewis, Bermudian reggae torchbearer Mishka and rapidly rising Americana firebrand AJ Lee will jump in the mix.
The “Memorial Day Pick-Nic” celebrates 35 years of Colorado’s own iconic Americana pathbreakers Leftover Salmon. Salmon and Dwellers will perform two sets each, bolstered by collaborations with the litany of guests and support from the High Country Horns. Denver’s Clay Street Unit will set off the program with an opening set.
