Late Night at The Heliograph: Phish Announce Additional Mondegreen Entertainment
On Thursday, August 15, Phish’s Mondegreen will commence at The Woodlands in Dover, Del. Ahead of the main event, which will yield a pair of frames performed each evening by the festival hosts, additional acts representing late-night entertainment have been added to the schedule.
Apart from Phish’s promise to perform nightly, following the same concert trajectory that will occur on Thursday, August 15, featuring a two-set format, beginning at 6:30 p.m., over the following days, Friday, August 16 through Sunday, August 18, the band has also added complementary DJ sets. Setting course the latest schedule, Thursday and Friday features music spun by Flying Mojito Brothers.
The ensuing evening slot will be filled during Saturday’s follow-up by Made of Oak, otherwise known as Nick Sanborn of Sylvan Esso, a familiar face at Phish concerts. Representing the final addition to the DJ forecast is Questlove, who recently appeared in The Tonight Show Starry Jimmy Fallon’s Jimmy, The Roots and Phish in An Elevator (cold open). Watch below.
Rounding out the latest festival additions, Phish also shared the list of comics slated to take the stage at the air-conditioned Leigh Fordham Hall. Live comedy sets will be provided by Dave Hill, Rory Scovel, Jordan Jenson and Gianmarco Soresi.
