Kyle Hollingsworth Announces Colorado Carnival, ‘All We Are’ Record Release Concert with Bill Nershi and Jeff Franca
On Friday, January 30, Kyle Hollingsworth invites folks to “Come Join the Carnival!” The event will take place at Cervantes’ Master Ballroom in Denver, and is built around the release of the keyboardist’s latest solo endeavor, All We Are, a 10-track album that arrived on August 1.
Joining the musician in celebration of his new release is a String Cheese Incident bandmate, Bill Nershi, who has co-opted a title to fit the occasion, “The Bearded Man.” Filling out the lineup of featured guests is “The Mind Bender, also known as Jeff Franca of Thievry Corporation.
While other names have not been disclosed, Hollingsworth’s event poster lists additional special guests participating in the musical occasion. After turning in an evening with friends in Denver, Hollingsworth will take his talents to Washington’s in Fort Collins, Colo., on Jan. 31.
Live shows will persist the next month, arriving as a trio: Feb 19 at Shakedown Bar in Vail, Colo., Feb. 20 at Schmiggity’s Live Music Dance Bar in Steamboat Springs, Colo., followed by a Feb. 21 gig at Devil’s Craft in Winter Park, Colo.
Similarly, Hollingsworth will reprise the format in March with another batch of live appearances: March 26-27 at the Public House in Crested Butte, Colo., and March 28 at The Lariat in Buena Vista, Colo.
