Burlington, Vt.-based rock band, Big Something, will join Kendall Street Company for two shows at the fabled 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. on March 11 and Elevation 27 in Virginia Beach, Va. on March 12. From there, the Athens, Ga. rock ‘n’ rock outfit Underground Springhouse will act as special guests until the end of the tour.
Kendall Street Company are set to make their debut performance at The Blind Tiger in Greensboro, N.C. on March 16, followed by a show The Georgia Theatre in Athens, Ga. on March 17. The band will then return to Birmingham, Ala., and Nashville, Tenn. for the final leg of their tour, and close out the run with a trio of North Carolina concerts.
The spring tour announcement follows the release of a studio cut of The Beatles’ 1968 number “Rocky Raccoon,” a longtime live staple for Kendall Street Company. The reimagined tune features subtle lyric changes and revamped instruments. Listen here.
